Job Description:

• Assist and actively participate with the camp counsellors in the direction, supervision, and organization of campers for all activities
• Lead classroom sessions on journal entries for students within their assigned class, introduce camp songs and take an active role during weekly assemblies • Communicate with parents when required and support the counsellor by sharing information • Ensure campers are properly supervised at all times • Be aware of, and implement, safety guidelines
• Assist in the teaching of camp activities and organizing camp events
• Maintain high standards of health and safety in all activities for campers and staff
• Be alert to camper needs and discuss any problems with counselors and site director
• Monitor equipment and facilities to ensure proper use, care, and maintenance is adhered to; report repairs needed promptly to head counselor or camp director
• Be a positive role model for campers; Ensure positive attitude, behavior and interaction with campers at all times

You will be required to stay beyond the standard working hours for staff meetings once a week and be available to participate in the Summer Camp Fair Event on 13 July 2019.
